Gershwin Revisited returns to Charlie Scott's for an evening dedicated to the lesser-known corners of George Gershwin's catalogue, performed by a jazz trio in contemporary arrangements.
The programme explores the intersection of classical composition and jazz improvisation, drawing on Gershwin's wit and structural sophistication to create a bridge between two musical worlds.
The trio features Laurits Høgel on piano, Niels Wilhelm Knudsen on bass, and Jesper Lørup on drums.
The concert is supported by the Copenhagen Municipality (KBH Kommune) and the Danish Arts Foundation (Statens Kunst Fond).
