Born Yoah Ouimet, YUYU has been active on Quebec's emerging music scene since 2020, exploring rap, trap, neo-soul and more experimental sounds before shifting toward a style centered on vocals, guitar and personal songwriting.
A close participant in every aspect of his projects โ composition, production, writing and co-management โ YUYU builds a coherent and controlled sonic identity. He is also one half of the experimental dance-music project wowlalune.
This show marks a new artistic chapter for YUYU as he works to broaden his audience and strengthen his place in the French-language music landscape.
