Som & Sabor do Brasil #24 is the opening event of the 29th Festival Senzala, co-presented by Brasiloca Events, Halle Tropisme and the Senzala association. The evening is structured in three distinct phases celebrating the breadth of Brazilian and Afro-Brazilian culture.
The night kicks off at 18:30 with a capoeira warm-up: an open capoeira class and roda accompanied by Afro-Brazilian percussion, inviting audiences into the energy of the evening from the very start.
The centrepiece is a grand Roda de Samba โ a communal samba circle featuring the special participation of Mestre Sorriso and numerous guest musicians, where performers and audience alike gather around the roda in a spirit of shared celebration.
The after-party shifts into high gear with Ingrid Teles and Caรฏnan do Braaasil delivering a set dedicated entirely to Brazilian funk and passinho, keeping the dancefloor alive into the night.
Throughout the evening, Brasiloca will be serving authentic Brazilian street food and specialities including feijoada, pastรฉis, coxinhas, pรฃo de queijo, cassava fries and more, making the night a full sensory experience.
