Pour une dernière voix - Pierre Verville (Show)

Pierre Verville brings his one-man show 'Pour une dernière voix' to Salle Jean-Grimaldi (demi-salle configuration) on Friday, October 9, 2026, with the curtain rising at 20:00. The show is billed as his farewell to solo performance after more than 40 years on stage.

The production weaves humour and impressions with personal memoir, imagining Verville as a radio host narrating his own life story directly to a live audience. He revisits childhood memories and career highlights while inhabiting iconic figures from Quebec culture, including François Legault, Michel Tremblay, Luc Plamondon and Robert Charlebois, among others. The journey travels from the 1960s to the present day.

Co-written with Pierre-Michel Tremblay, the show is described as both tender and comedic, intertwining Verville's personal journey with broader Quebec cultural history. He is joined on stage by musician Nadine Turbide.

Verville has been a fixture of Quebec entertainment since his debut at Les Lundis des ha ha! in 1983. He was recently a star of the long-running Radio-Canada radio programme À la semaine prochaine (17 seasons) and currently plays Marc Duchesne in the Illico series Ravages.
