Japanese DJ Yousuke Yukimatsu is set to take over Poolen in Copenhagen on March 24, 2027, for a high-intensity club night that defies genre boundaries. Known for an almost supernatural ability to blend tracks from every corner of the world, Yukimatsu treats unpredictability as the centrepiece of his performances — weaving together anything from Aerosmith to The Prodigy remixes to minimalist piano compositions into seamless, dancefloor-destroying sets.
Yukimatsu's story is as compelling as his music. In 2016 he was working as a construction worker while DJing on the side and running his Zone Unknown events. A brain tumour diagnosis — and the successful surgery that followed — became a turning point: he left his day job and committed entirely to his craft and CDJs. Since then he has built a global reputation, delivering what many consider one of the most legendary Boiler Room sets ever recorded and most recently electrifying the Arena stage at Roskilde Festival.
His physical presence on stage is as much a part of the show as the music. A genre-mixer who starts each set fully clothed, Yukimatsu inevitably ends up bare-chested — a genuine, unself-conscious manifestation of the raw energy he pours into every performance rather than a rehearsed DJ cliché.
Poolen is located at Refshalevej 189, 1432 København K. Tickets are available via the link below.
