Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark (OMD) is a British synth-pop and electronic music duo formed in 1978, known for pioneering the use of synthesizers in pop music. Their most notable works include the hit singles "Enola Gay" and "If You Leave," the latter featured prominently in the 1986 film "Pretty in Pink."
