ORBO LAB - Collective Art Installation

ORBO LAB is a collaborative artwork created by digital artist Hugo Mazo and atelierDNHN, founded by Julien Arphi.

The installation draws inspiration from the Japanese Boro textile tradition, featuring a patchwork fabric that wraps around a shipping container. Alongside this, a collective digital piece allows visitors to record themselves on a backlit interactive platform.

Hugo Mazo's practice is shaped by street dance and club culture, while atelierDNHN crafts unique, gender-neutral garments from reclaimed textiles. The work is presented in the Zone Arts présentée par Aveleda at Festival M.A.D. 2026. Exact dates are to be announced.
