MCR-T

MCR-T is the musical alias of Julian McCarthy, born and raised in Berlin-Zehlendorf with Jamaican-American roots. His sound fuses Miami bass, booty house, ghettotech, and hard techno, and he has performed at venues and festivals including Berghain, EDC, Nuits Sonores, and Boiler Room. Signed to LIVE FROM EARTH, he released his 2024 album "NOT THE SAME ≠", a reflection of his post-pandemic approach to club music that balances individuality with collective dancefloor energy.
