Gabriel Szabo graduated from the École de théâtre professionnel du Collège Lionel-Groulx in 2013 and has since built a distinguished career in Quebec theater. He won the best male performance award at the Cochons d'or gala in 2014 for the lead role in PIG at Prospero, and received the AQCT male performance prize in 2015-2016 for Sauvageau Sauvageau. In 2025, he won that same AQCT prize for his performance in Ces regards amoureux de garçons altérés.
