François Laliberté, performing under the name Franky Freedom, takes the stage at Le Verre Bouteille on October 3, 2026. Doors open at 20:00 and the show begins at 20:30.
A drummer, multi-instrumentalist and producer based in Montreal, Laliberté trained at the Berklee College of Music. His Franky Freedom project sits at the crossroads of alternative jazz, electro, R&B and post-fusion, with a strong emphasis on improvisation, groove and refined sound design.
The concert supports the release of Franky Freedom II, his second album, released in 2026. The record was made in collaboration with internationally recognized musicians including Mark Lettieri (of Snarky Puppy) and Gary Willis (of Tribal Tech).
