Château de Flaugergues opens its doors for an exceptional afternoon concert as part of the Art Flau cultural season. Two accomplished musicians — violinist Dorota Anderszewska and pianist Cyril Van Ginneken — join forces for a duo recital devoted to the great masterpieces of Romantic chamber music.
The programme features two landmark works: Beethoven's Violin Sonata in C minor, Op. 30, celebrated for its lyrical and poetic character, and César Franck's Sonata in A major, widely regarded as one of the crowning achievements of 19th-century chamber music.
Dorota Anderszewska is acclaimed internationally for her subtle and expressive violin playing, having appeared on major stages around the world. Cyril Van Ginneken brings a touch described as both delicate and powerful, known for his ability to transcend the written score and forge a unique musical chemistry with his collaborators.
Doors open at 17:00; the concert runs from 17:30 to 19:00.
