Brok & Gråd is an interactive live show hosted by Sofie Riise Nors at Nørrebro Teater, offering audiences a space to air their frustrations — big or small — without judgment. Audience members write their grievances anonymously on slips of paper, which Nors then reads aloud to the room.
Complaints are sorted into three categories: the constructive (where the audience offers advice), the compassionate (where everyone simply listens), and the unspoken (which remains unread). Each category ends with a collective toast and a shared phrase.
The event closes with a communal shredding of all notes and a final toast: "Complain, burn, celebrate." The format blends comedy, catharsis, and solidarity in an evening designed to let people vent, laugh, cry, and let go together.
The concept was created by Sofie Riise Nors, Cecilie Nørgaard, and Mette Mut within the feminist community Over Broen (2021–2024). Sofie Riise Nors is an illustrator, author, comic artist, satirist, feminist, TV host, and public speaker.
