Paris-based trumpet virtuoso Hillel Salem returns to Copenhagen for a special evening at Charlie Scott's, presenting a programme titled 'A letter to Lee Morgan and Freddie Hubbard' with his group. The concert dives deep into the melodic and harmonic universe of two jazz trumpet legends, performed with a deep grounding in the jazz tradition.
Salem is joined by some of Scandinavia's most celebrated jazz musicians, promising a swinging and rhythmically rich performance that honours the legacy of both Morgan and Hubbard.
