The Smashing Pumpkins are an American alternative rock band hailing from Chicago, established in 1987 by vocalist and guitarist Billy Corgan. They achieved significant popularity with their second album, Siamese Dream, which came out in 1993. Acknowledged as one of the most celebrated bands of the 1990s, The Smashing Pumpkins are set to return to Italy with their latest album, Aghori Mhori Mei, scheduled for release in August 2024.

Alan Sparhawk, co-founder of the band Low alongside singer and drummer Mimi Parker, has released several successful albums. Their latest album, Hey What (2021), which was nominated for a Grammy, received widespread acclaim. Following Parker's death at the end of 2022, Sparhawk released his first solo album, White Roses, My God, in 2024. Deeply influenced by grief, the album transcends that experience with intense, brilliant, and provocative content. It pushes the boundaries of creativity with an experimental sound, profound lyrics, and rhythms that continually astonish. Sparhawk will be showcasing this extraordinary work at Unaltrofestival 2025.
