Sun Kil Moon is the musical project of Mark Kozelek, who rose to prominence as the frontman of the 1990s alt-rock band Red House Painters. Under the Sun Kil Moon name, Kozelek crafts introspective indie folk and slowcore music defined by fingerpicked acoustic guitar, hushed vocals, and bittersweet lyrical storytelling.
The show takes place at Piranha Bar, located at 680 Rue Ste-Catherine O in Montreal, Quebec, with doors and performance beginning at 8:00 PM EDT on Saturday, September 12, 2026.
