Pianist Saskia Giorgini, celebrated by critics for her sensitive and refined interpretations, brings a programme dedicated to the worlds of Liszt and Debussy to the Festival de Lanaudière. This marks her very first performance in Canada, making it a notable occasion for classical music lovers.
The Liszt portion of the programme includes the Tre sonetti del Petrarca S.158, the Mephisto-Valse No. 1 S.514, and the Vallée d'Obermann S.160 No. 6. The Debussy works featured are Estampes L.100, Reflets dans l'eau (from Images L.110), Danse – Tarantelle styrienne L.69, and L'Isle joyeuse L.106.
The performance takes place on July 28, 2026 at 20:00 at the Église de Sainte-Mélanie. The total duration is approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes, including an intermission.
