SMOLUK is a life-size sculpture (175 cm) of the iconic Air Force One sneaker, painstakingly constructed from recycled cardboard and customized by artist Her. The work honours women who have shaped Quรฉbec's hip-hop history.
The piece was created by Montreal-based artist Alice Lepetit, who has been based in the city since 2015. Her practice transforms discarded cardboard into shoe sculptures, probing themes of mass consumption and recycling.
