Pas perdus | Documentaires scéniques

Pas perdus | Documentaires scéniques brings eight real, non-actor individuals to the stage, each chosen for their singular life story and the compelling way they narrate it. Their voices, captured live and enhanced through immersive sound design, are paired with their physical presence on stage, preserving the raw authenticity of unrehearsed speech.

The show is conceived by Anaïs Barbeau-Lavalette (research and interviews) and Émile Proulx-Cloutier (narrative conception and direction). On stage, the eight protagonists — Dominic, Elisabeth, Eva, Jérôme, Quentin, Réal, Sylvain and Yaëlle — are accompanied by Anaïs Barbeau-Lavalette herself.

Through a series of short portraits, the piece weaves connections between vastly different personal journeys, inviting audiences to reconsider how they look at individuals, communities and histories. Themes of memory, transmission, language, inner burdens and the place of joy are central to the work.

Originally created at the Centre du Théâtre d'Aujourd'hui in spring 2022, the show toured in 2023, including stops at the TNM and Le Diamant, drawing wide audiences. This Théâtre Maisonneuve run is presented as an encore series.

Runtime: 1 hour 50 minutes, no intermission. Tickets range from $33 to $103.50, taxes and fees included. Four performances are scheduled: Thursday October 15 at 20:00, Friday October 16 at 15:00, Saturday October 17 at 15:00, and Sunday October 18 (time to be confirmed).
