The Bones of J.R. Jones is the artistic project of American musician Jonathon Linaberry, originating in Brooklyn but rooted in Southern American folk, blues, gospel and americana traditions. His 2016 album Spirit Talker marked a breakthrough, and subsequent releases have expanded his sound while retaining its dark, introspective core.
