Socks & Stilettos is an experimental performance series hosted at Nørrebro Teater and co-presented by inter.pblc and Brodie. Each edition brings together a freshly curated selection of artists and artist groups working across diverse genres and art forms, using the theatre stage as a shared platform for movement and the fusion of creative practices.
The format encompasses visual art, music, sound, performance, video, and choreography, blending national and international contributors into a staged collaborative narrative that is both constructed and surreal. The running time is approximately 60 minutes.
The second edition features three curated pairings: Copenhagen-based trio Haloplus+ (Isa Nam Sook / Ryong, Joakim Wei Bernild / Angel Wei / First Hate, and Stine Victoria), who bring backgrounds in songwriting, DJing, visual arts, and event curation and released their debut album Musicality in 2025; multidimensional performer Maji Claire, who works across film, sound, movement, and choreography, with credits including Christine and the Queens, Robyn, Neneh Cherry, and FKA Twigs; and fashion artist Alectra Rothschild / MASCULINA, whose label has staged performative runway shows at Copenhagen Fashion Week for three consecutive years.
Also featured are Heva Vaupel, a Copenhagen-based metal and electronic artist affiliated with experimental label Janushoved since 2016, whose 2026 EP Yearner Music fuses black metal with contemporary electronic production; and choreographer Camilla Lind, whose interdisciplinary practice spans performance, textiles, sculpture, and music, and who holds a degree from the Danish National School of Performing Arts.
