The New Year's Concert at the Opera returns for 2026, offering three performances — one on December 30 and two on December 31 — at Operaen in Copenhagen.
Guests can look forward to an evening of champagne, musicians in full formal attire, and some of the most celebrated music ever written, performed by Det Kongelige Kapel (the Royal Danish Orchestra).
The three time slots allow audiences to choose a performance that suits them: a December 30 evening show (19:00–21:30), a New Year's Eve matinee (12:00–14:30), or a New Year's Eve afternoon/evening performance (17:45–20:15).
