Malvenn is a Montreal-based trio founded in 2023, bringing together Cécile Delage on Celtic harp, Charlotte Layec on clarinets, and McKinley James on cello. Their repertoire draws from balfolk tradition — European traditional dances collected from Breton, Irish, and Québécois heritage — alongside original compositions and arrangements.
Influenced by the neo-trad movement, their debut album 'Chez Nous' sits at the crossroads of traditional, classical, and contemporary music. The title is a nod to their touring project 'Malvenn joue chez vous,' in which they performed in private homes.
The show is presented with a standing audience configuration, subject to change based on ticket sales. Le Ministère accepts credit and debit cards only — no cash. All tickets must be purchased online, including at the door on the night of the show.
