Qu'est-ce qu'on a fait au bon dieu

This Quebec production adapts the internationally successful French comedy film by Guy Laurent and Philippe de Chauveron, which has sold over 19 million tickets worldwide and welcomed more than 40,000 spectators in Quebec alone. The story follows Alain Bouchard, a proud Québécois who has raised his daughters with open-minded values, only to find three of them in relationships with men of different cultural backgrounds. Each family gathering turns into a comedic minefield of misunderstandings and cultural clashes.

In this instalment, Alain's wife Marie proposes a grand Christmas reunion as a way to restore family harmony. Alain seizes the occasion to introduce a 'pure laine' Québécois partner to his fourth daughter, Karine — but the holiday gathering has a few surprises in store for him.

The production is directed by Michel-Maxime Legault, with an adaptation by Emmanuel Reichenbach. The cast includes Rémy Girard, Chantal Baril, Widemir Normil, Catherine Larochelle, Neev, Ariel Ifergan, Nicolas Michon, Maxime Mompérousse, Monika Pilon, Marie-Eve Soulard La Ferrière, Alexis Gauthier, and Marie-Ève Trudel.

Running time is approximately 120 minutes with an intermission. The show is presented as a special out-of-series (hors série — supplémentaire) performance.
