L'Antidote - Bijan Chemirani, Redi Hasa & Rami Khalifé (Concierto de Jazz Mundial)

L'Antidote brings together three internationally acclaimed musicians for an instrumental programme of rare refinement. Percussionist Bijan Chemirani — master of the Iranian zarb and Persian percussion — blends his rhythmic expertise with influences from jazz and Mediterranean traditions. Cellist Redi Hasa, of Albanian origin, is celebrated for his role in reviving the traditional music of southern Italy and for his collaborations with Maria Mazzotta, Ludovico Einaudi, and Robert Plant. Lebanese pianist Rami Khalifé navigates fluently between classical and electronic music.

Together, the three artists frame their music as a kind of antidote: a response to the poisons of contemporary times through the healing power of beauty and shared sound. The programme is entirely instrumental, drawing on world jazz, classical, and Mediterranean roots.

The concert takes place on Saturday 12 September 2026 at 16:30 at the Théâtre Jean-Claude Carrière in Montpellier, as part of the Festival Arabesques.
