Jeunes mères

Jeunes mères is a Belgian-French drama from 2025 by Jean-Pierre and Luc Dardenne, running 105 minutes and rated G. It won the Screenplay Award at the Cannes Film Festival 2025.

The story follows Jessica, Perla, Julie, Ariane and Naïma, five teenage girls living in a maternity home that supports them in their lives as young mothers. Each hopes to build a better future for herself and her child. The cast includes Lucie Laruelle, Babette Verbeek and Janaina Halloy Fokan.

The screening is part of the Ciné-Club du Quartier series, in the main hall (Grande salle) with assigned seating. Shows are on Monday 19 October 2026 at 16:00 and 19:30.
