Cinéma Moderne hosts a special screening of I Am Trying to Break Your Heart: A Film About Wilco on Thursday, September 24, 2026, at 18:30, presented by Film POP as part of POP Montreal 2026.
Directed by Sam Jones and released in 2002, this black-and-white documentary follows alt-country rock band Wilco through the turbulent recording and release process of their landmark album Yankee Hotel Foxtrot.
The film holds particular significance for POP Montreal, having also screened at the very first edition of the festival.
