Two characters come on stage, freshly delivered in boxes marked "Fragile" and "Attention", which become their names. They are something like the first man and first woman in an age of online shopping and office towers.
They receive a basic kit to set up their office, a place for ideas and daydreaming. A catalogue full of sales and bargains then tempts them into a sudden thirst for consumption and coffee.
Amid a jumble of objects, the pair improvise their new existence and try not to collide with everything. The piece draws on a quote attributed to George Perec: living means moving from one space to another while trying as much as possible not to bump into anything.
Performed in Salle Jean-Grimaldi, as a family show.
