Maud Le Pladec, an acclaimed choreographer, is appearing with the Centre Chorégraphique National d'Orléans for a performance entitled ‘Counting Stars With You (Musiques Femmes)’. She will be accompanied by Tom Pauwels of the Ensemble Ictus and Chloé Thévenin.

Trajal Harrell, named 'Dancer of the Year' by the German magazine Tanz in 2018, has chosen to transform this prestigious distinction into a unique artistic work. He decided to create a solo entitled 'Dancer of the Year', not merely to celebrate the award, but to use it as the starting point for a personal and artistic exploration. In this performance, Harrell blends intimacy and autobiography, offering a space for reflection on his distinctive career. This solo allows us to dive into his creative universe, influenced by a rich diversity of styles and languages, from New York voguing to postmodern dance, and Japanese butoh. It is a way of tracing his evolution while revealing his influences and his deep connection with dance.

Composed of over thirty young dancers from all over the world, the Ballet Junior de Genève has been a vital springboard for launching professional careers in major dance companies since 1980. The audience at Equilibrio 2025 will have the opportunity to experience the presentation of works by two artists who have made a significant impact on recent editions of the festival: Alessandro Sciarroni with "Turning_motion sickness remix" and "Marcos Morau** with *Cathedral".

Mercurio is a performance born of the collaboration between choreographer and performer Luna Cenere and composer, improviser and saxophonist Antonio Raia. The title refers to the peculiarities of mercury, both as a chemical element and as a mythological figure, which have very contradictory characteristics. The performance aims to show the harmonisation of different elements, creating a balance and connection between them through music and dance.

Valentina Dal Mas, author and expressive dancer, brings to life the story of an imaginary little girl named Danya in her show Where Do You Look at the World From? At the age of nine, Danya has not yet learned to write. When she meets four unique friends, she learns valuable lessons and embarks on a journey towards happiness. A group of children aged 7 to 12 will have the opportunity to spend the night at the Auditorium Parco della Musica Ennio Morricone in Rome, watch Valentina Dal Mas's show and take part in various activities led by professionals. Activities include exploring different concert halls, meeting the artists and much more. Rachid Ouramdane returns with a new creation, Contre-nature, featuring 10 dancers with a variety of techniques and styles from the Théâtre du Chaillot company. The show will mix ground and aerial dance, offering a unique visual experience.

Valentina Dal Mas, an author and dancer, stages the performance "Luisa", winner of the Premio Scenario in 2023. The piece tells the story of a woman the choreographer met at a social cooperative that works "for the global recovery of people in any way marginalized". Through the dance, the choreographer translates emotion into movement, portraying themes of fragility and solitude.

Luna Cenere presents the performance *Vanishing Place*, a piece that reveals a place where time is both created and lost, much like the emotions and memories it holds. This space is portrayed through movements, bodies that are both poetic and tangible.

Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker, Radouan Mriziga, and the Rosas company will stage the performance "Il Cimento dell'Armonia e dell'Inventione", using Antonio Vivaldi's "The Four Seasons" as a starting point to explore the evolution of the relationship between humans and nature.

Jesús Rubio Gamo chose the txalaparta as the basis for his 2021 performance Txalaparta, created for the Basque company Kukai Dantza. This company fosters contemporary creations rooted in traditional Basque dance, collaborating with external choreographers. In the performance, each gesture is a direct response to the musical pulse.

Michele Abbondanza and Antonella Bertoni, acknowledged as masters of Italian dance-theatre, will present the performance Viro, which tells the story of a monster, a creature split in two who, unaware of the fracture, amplifies and doubles its own nature, both heroically self-satisfied and depressed at the same time.

Marco da Silva Ferreira has gained recognition for his unique ability to blend hip-hop influences with contemporary dance, creating an aesthetic that combines physicality and poetry. Drawing inspiration from urban culture and street dance, he will present an energetic and powerful performance titled "Bisonte", which seeks to explore the body as a symbol of power, resistance, and memory.
