Rutger Bregman, one of Europe's most prominent young thinkers and author of internationally acclaimed books 'Utopia for Realists' and 'Humankind', visits Nørrebro Teater to mark the publication of his new book, 'Moral Ambition'. The book challenges the conventional definition of success — measured by salary, title, and prestige — and proposes that we redirect our talents toward the world's most pressing problems, from climate change and inequality to future pandemics.
Bregman is perhaps best known internationally for his appearance at the World Economic Forum in Davos in 2019, where he directly challenged billionaires on their approach to taxation and social responsibility.
Joining him in conversation is Rune Lykkeberg, editor-in-chief of the Danish newspaper Information and a prominent public intellectual who regularly interviews leading thinkers on topics spanning culture, politics, and economics. The discussion will explore how moral ambition allows individuals to be both idealistic and successful.
The event is conducted in English and is presented in collaboration with People's Press and Golden Days. Following the conversation, there will be a book sale and a signing session with Rutger Bregman.
