Morten Pape

Morten Pape is a Danish novelist and screenwriter who debuted in 2015 with Planen, an autofictional novel about growing up in a Copenhagen social housing estate. He went on to publish the award-winning Amager Trilogy — Guds bedste børn (2019) and I Ruiner (2022) — exploring how environment and inheritance shape life circumstances, and has since begun a family trilogy examining generational trauma through Nøglebarn (2024) and Månebarn (2025).
