Henning Kure is a Danish mythologist, comics creator, author and former editor, and one of the key figures behind the Valhalla comic series, which he developed alongside Peter Madsen, Hans Rancke and Per Vadmand. A self-taught expert in Norse mythology, he served as album editor at Interpresse (1974–1988) and has published the non-fiction book I begyndelsen var skriget (2010) as well as scholarly articles on the subject.
