This 5@7 is part of the 36th edition of Cabaret Folk, a music event that has gathered Montreal's folk scene since 2006. It is known as a meeting point for fans of folk music and poetry.
The afternoon features four artists: Travelling Headcase, Jacques Bertrand Jr., Vander and Isabelle St-Pierre. The event is billed as four solitudes strung together in a farandole.
Cabaret Folk usually mixes established, emerging and early-career artists in a friendly atmosphere. Past participants include Kelo Cardinal, Katie Moore, Keith Kouna and Emilie Clepper. Events take place at several Montreal venues, including L'Espace Public, Verre Bouteille, Quai des Brumes and Cheval Blanc.
