DALIDA IN PARADISCO is a musical and theatrical creation directed by Thomas Jolly. It follows Dalida on an initiatory journey through her own life, from her Italian roots and childhood in Cairo to the stages of Paris and the world, guided by her best-known songs.
The disco era is central to the show. Alongside her brother and producer Orlando, Dalida helped bring the genre to France, and the production pairs disco energy with a more intimate look at the woman behind the star. Songs mentioned include Bambino, J'attendrai, Salma ya salama and Paroles, paroles.
Thomas Jolly is a French actor, theatre and opera director and artistic director. He staged Starmania and was artistic director of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic ceremonies.
Performances in Montpellier take place on Saturday 22 January 2028 at 20:00 and Sunday 23 January 2028 at 15:00 at the Sud de France Arena. The production is also announced at the Dôme de Paris from 16 October 2027 to 2 January 2028, before touring France, Switzerland and Belgium.
