Beirut is an indie folk band led by Zach Condon, known for their distinctive blend of Eastern European folk music, brass instrumentation, and melancholic melodies. Their most notable works include the albums "Gulag Orkestar" (2006) and "The Flying Club Cup" (2007), as well as the popular song "Postcards from Italy."
