Born in 1962, Anne-Marie Vedsø Olesen is a Danish author who debuted with the award-winning medieval novel Salernos Sol in 2000. Her extensive body of work includes critically acclaimed historical and mythological novels, and she has received numerous awards including the Danish Horror Society's Award (2019), the Niels Klim Award (2021), and the DR Novel Award (2022) for Vølvens vej, Snehild.
