Elin Brimheim Heinesen invites the audience to a 'kvøldseta' at ALICE, a calm and atmospheric evening devoted to Faroese music, literature and culture. The lights are dimmed and the pace is slow, leaving room to listen, sing and be together.
A kvøldseta is a traditional Faroese gathering in living rooms with live music, readings, storytelling and handicrafts. The tradition has seen a revival in recent years, and Elin was among the first to bring back living-room concerts in her own home.
She performs her own songs with guitarist Eyðun Mohr Hansen. Several Faroese guest musicians join in, and there are readings from Faroese literature in the interval between the two sets.
