Ana Roxanne is an American composer and vocalist based in New York who grew up in the Bay Area. Her music sits between ambient, jazz, minimalism and folk, with soft harmonies and a clear, melancholic voice. She visits ALICE with her duo to present her new album "Poem 1" (2026), which turns grief and heartbreak into slow, cinematic songs built on piano figures, vulnerable vocals and synth drones.
Her path took in jazz, R&B and classical music at home, choral studies in Iowa, and a trip to Uttarakhand, India, where she studied Hindustani vocal techniques. She has collaborated with Bernie Krause, Beverly Glenn-Copeland and DJ Python, and has played festivals including Pitchfork Music Festival, Le Guess Who, Dekmantel, Rewire and Glastonbury.
Opening the night is Hasfeldt, the alias of Danish artist Martin Jon Hasfeldt, who works across visual art, performance and music production. His electronic sound moves between club-like and ambient, and he has performed everywhere from Roskilde Cathedral to Mayhem and ALICE. He returns to ALICE following his EP "Play Me Like One of the Others" (2026).
The concert is seated. Doors and the show are at 21:00 on Saturday 14 November.
