Morad, the stage name of Morad El Khattouti El Horami, was born on March 5, 1999, in Barcelona. He is a Spanish rapper of Moroccan descent. In 2019, he gained recognition in the Spanish music scene with his single "MDLR". Following this success, he founded the MDLR label and released his self-titled album in 2020, which was certified platinum in Spain. In 2022, he embarked on his first European tour. Morad has experienced tremendous success in recent years. Morad kicked off 2025 by surprising fans with two new singles: ‘Olvidar’, which quickly racked up 4 million streams on Spotify, and ‘AH2’, released on January 20. His lyrics are deeply inspired by his childhood and adolescence, reflecting his journey through juvenile delinquency and the challenges of growing up in a marginalized environment. He is known for performing primarily in the drill music style, which shares similarities with French rap from Maghreb-origin artists.
