Massive Attack is a British musical group formed in 1988 in Bristol, widely recognized as pioneers of the trip hop genre. Initially composed of Robert Del Naja (3D), Adrian Thaws (Tricky), Grant Marshall (Daddy G), and Andrew Vowles (Mushroom), their musical style evolved from hip hop and groove to electronic music. Over time, two members left the group: Adrian Thaws (Tricky) in 1994 and Andrew Vowles (Mushroom) in 1998.
