Alan Sparhawk

United States
About
Alan Sparhawk, co-founder of Low alongside singer/drummer Mimi Parker, released several successful albums with the band. Their latest album, Hey What, nominated for a Grammy and released in 2021, received widespread acclaim. Following Parker’s death in 2022, which marked the end of the band, Sparhawk embarked on a solo career in 2024 with his debut album, White Roses, My God. The album conveys his grief, especially through singles like "Heaven," while also offering intensity, provocation, and profound lyrics that transcend mere sorrow.
